The NatureWell Journey
Since 2008, Natural Academy has worked at the intersection of human and environmental health, responding to the twin crises in wellbeing and nature loss. We support deeper connection to nature for individuals, communities, and organisations—helping thousands to improve health and resilience through green care, ecotherapy, and professional training.
Our work equips NHS teams, conservation bodies, and community organisations to deliver evidence-based nature connection programmes. Over the past eight years, we have developed NatureWell, now recognised as a model of practice for nature-based interventions across the UK, including in North Somerset, the West of England, Oxfordshire, Surrey, South Wales and within NHS mental health services across different NHS trusts in England.
